Applied magnetic materials in proportional solenoids (PSs) of HCVs have remarkable effects on magnetic force. The main idea of this paper is to investigate the effects of different magnetic materials used in the PS’s core and plunger, on the dynamic behavior of the PS and to obtain their importance levels. This helps to choose the proper materials that improve the performance characteristics of the PS. Different combinations of magnetic materials with their non-linear B-H curves have been applied in ANSYS software package to determine the magnetic behaviors (magnetic force, magnetic flux density) of the materials. Magnetic force-displacement curves are obtained for the different combinations of the materials by finite element analysis (FEA), based on them the dynamic behavior of the PS can be studied without constructing a physical prototype. The Magnetic flux density and force are also calculated using finite element method (FEM) and the results have been compared with the experimental results obtained from an actual PS.

http://www.seipub.org/rpim/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=3435Research on Precision Instrument and Machineryhttp://www.seipub.org/rpim/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=3435Description and Measurement of the Progress Eco-Sustainability2014-0
Description and Measurement of the Progress Eco-Sustainability

Pages 5-10

Author Rinaldo C. Lifecycle starts when the supply chain idea is conceived and lasts until complete disposal is done, after manufacture, exploitation and recycle. The environment protection requires involvement of sustainable companies, which, since the beginning, operate by eco-design with the tied requirements’ specifications. The LEQ has to follow: the many material flows, characterising the main lifecycle process; the nested side flows, during the design, manufacturing, assembly, service, maintenance, etc.; then: the disassembly, recycle, disposal, etc. phases, adding the tied testing and diagnostics stipulations. In the paper, the LEQ metrics is examined, on the measurement of the linked eco-protection functions.

http://www.seipub.org/rpim/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=16312Research on Precision Instrument and Machineryhttp://www.seipub.org/rpim/PaperInfo.aspx?ID=16312
