Journal of Information and Secure Computing (JISC) is created to provide a systems-level focused forum for application-oriented manuscripts that address complex systems and system-of-systems of national and global significance on security topic. It is intended to encourage and facilitate cooperation and interaction among IEEE societies, and other professional societies, with systems-level and systems engineering interest.

Intelligence and Security Informatics is defined as the development of advanced information technologies, systems, algorithms, and databases for international, national and homeland security related applications. Security Informatics will publish peer-reviewed articles in areas relevant to ISI research, from the perspectives of Information Technology/ Informatics and related policy considerations.
