Failure data is provided by the smelting company, the data is collected top-submerged smelting system failure data of four years. First, the model of FTA is established, using Monte Carlo method to analyze the importance of bottom events of FTA, then using the method of FMECA to analyze the failure mode and the criticality of the system for the important degrees higher bottom. The main factors and the weakest link which affect the system of top-submerged smelting reliability are pointed out, the model analysis results show that the analysis is effective and accurate compared with engineering practice and expert experience.
